According to YourDictionary.com (https://www.yourdictionary.com/best-friend) a best friend is defined as “a person who you value above other friends in your life, someone you have fun with, someone you trust and someone in whom you confide in.” That statement couldn’t be more true.
I value this friendship from the moment we joined Kappa. If someone would have told me that I was going to meet one of my college best friends, then I would have told them they were crazy. During our time in Kappa, you were the person I aspired to be the most and you still are. With everything that was thrown your way, you dealt with it so much professionalism and grace.
I don’t think I have laughed harder with anyone else, especially when talking about a specific ex and a Kate Spade purse. I can’t thank you enough for dragging me out to the senior bar crawl and trying to find me a boyfriend. Having dinner (and sometimes breakfast) with you was the best part of my day. I always look forward to seeing you during those times because I know I would be able to tell you anything. Even when we were both just tired from a day full of classes and we sat in silence, it was still fun. I knew that if I had a problem, I could always talk to you about it and I knew I was going to get an honest answer. Thank you for always being a true and honest friend. No matter what the situation was, you always managed to be honest and bring your opinion. It could be with a professor or a personal problem. You’re brave enough to voice your opinion and make sure your voice was heard. You are the exact definition of a beautiful person and don’t ever forget that. I hope that your nieces and your future child/children (if you have any) see how lucky they are to have such a badass role model to look up to. I’m not sure what I would have done without you.
Elle, you are truly one of the most amazing people that I have ever met and nothing can change my mind. You are brave, beautiful, honest, and above all the most supportive person I have ever met. You are going to be the most gorgeous bride ever and I can’t wait to visit you in Montana.
