“Lipstick is really magical. It holds more than a waxy bit of color—it holds the promise of a brilliant smile, a brilliant day both literally and figuratively.— Roberta Gately
A— Anastasia Beverly Hills
Huge name in the makeup world, best known for their eyebrow and eyeshadow products. One of their products that I love to use is the clear brow gel.
B— Beauty Blender and Brushes
A good beauty blender and a strong brush set goes a long way. I personally love my Real Techniques sponge and BH Brushes, those are always my go-to beauty tools.
C— CoverGirl Mascara
I love CoverGirl mascaras. There are so many different kinds all with different wands with different outcomes. They’re also beyond affordable and you can find them anywhere.
D— Duo Bronzer
I can’t go anywhere without my Clarins Duo Bronzer. It’s one of the few bronzers that looks natural on me and it lasts a long time.
E— E.L.F Cosmetics
Another great affordable brand, E.L.F Cosmetics. I personally love their brushes. They’re super soft, durable, and really easy to clean. The brushes hold the product nicely and apply it beautifully.
Who doesn’t love a good foundation? Especially a full coverage one that doesn't require you to use half the bottle or make your face look like cake batter.
I never really understood highlighter, but now I’m lowkey obsessed with it. My go-to’s Fenty and Tarte Pro-Glow
J— James Charles Artsy Palette
At first, I wasn’t a fan of his palette because of all the colors. But now I really like it. It has a nice mix of doing colorful looks and neutral looks.
K— Kylie Cosmetics
Love her or hate her, she’s made a name for herself in the makeup world. Her skincare line was not the best, but her makeup works for people and gets great reviews.
I’ve been saying this through the entire like but you really can’t go wrong with a little lip gloss or even a red lip. It really does pull the whole outfit together.
I really like Morphe. I believe they have a good eyeshadow formula and their setting sprays have been the best (for me).
Throwing a neutral look together is always my go-to, no matter how many colorful palettes I own.
P— Paint Pot
Paint Pot from MAC is what I use to help set my eyeshadow in place. It definitely helps with less to no staining on my lids.
Rare Beauty is Selena Gomez’s new beauty line. I don’t have much from them, but the blush and lipstick that I have from them are amazing. Very pigmented.
S—Skincare (by Hyram)
Skincare plays a huge part in playing with makeup. Having a good skincare routine tailored to your skin is going to go a long way.
T— Tarte Shape Tape
My go-to concealer. It doesn’t crease and it doesn’t look too cakey on my face.
U— Urban Decay
They have a good foundation and one of the first nicer eyeshadow palette.
W— Waterproof mascara
I love a good waterproof mascara. Even though it could be a b*tch to rub off, it won’t run when I cry out of nowhere.
X— ‘X’ (for collabs i.e James Charles x Morphe)
Who doesn’t love a good makeup collaboration with their favorite celebrity? There have been many great ones and ones that have completely flopped.
