I love playing with makeup. Well..now I do and I’m still learning, but i have already determined what I don’t like. From different brands, skills, to even steps to doing a full face, I have some things I should confess to everyone. I don’t like contour. I hate contour, actually. It does nothing for my face and I think it’s because my face is too round. My mom did try to contour my face and all that, but it didn’t look right or make a difference. Maybe when I lose more weight in my face, it will look more natural but right now it doesn’t work. I don’t know if I can support a brand whose CEO/Founder is a terrible human. This is just a general acknowledgement to cosmetic brands that have people like this. If word gets out that your CEO/Founder is transphobic or racist or anything like that, you’re not getting any of my money no matter how good the product is. I especially won’t buy from them if they don’t own up to their mistakes. I use expired products sometimes. If it still works and I see/smell nothing wrong with it, I’ll still use it. But if it looks like I’ve had it for a decade, then it goes in the trash. Other than that I’ll still use it. I spent the money on it, I’m using it until it’s all gone. I’ll touch more on this in a later post on this page, but I don’t like nail polish or getting my nails done. I always peel the polish off. False eyelashes scare me. I feel like my eyes are already sensitive, so me putting glue on the upper lash line doesn’t sit right with me. I’m just scared that something is gonna happen and my eyes get stuck together or something. Powder foundation is something that I don’t think I could personally get behind. I already put blush, highlighter, and other different powders. I think it would make my face a little uncomfortable. These are just my personal preferences. In no way shape or form am I judging people, I just wanted to share some of my preferences.
