Conceal the Concealer

There's nothing better than finding a great concealer that hides away everything from my dark circles under my eyes to all my emotions (just kidding). These are just a few that I've tried!

Personally, I can do without this in my collection. I liked it at first, but I realized I like the Tarte Shape Tape better. It’s not that I hate this concealer, it’s just that I don’t find this to be as amazing as everyone is saying it is. I think this does have a good finish to it and it looks great, I’m just not understanding the hype for it. It’s definitely a more affordable option than Tarte, even though Tarte isn't super expensive either.

I do not like this concealer at all and it’s because of the applicator. I do not like the sponge and having to twist it to get any product. It doesn’t apply evenly for me and it causes me to crease under my eyes. Never buying this again. I also feel like I'musing up more product because it's all getting absorbed by the sponge.

You definitely get what you pay for this one. It’s one of my worst concealers ever. Not only is the applicator horrible, but it made my under eyes gray and dried them out. I would not recommend buying this. There is also no coverage and it’s impossible to get the product out.

In conclusion, the only concealer that I really like is the ELF Cosmetics Hydrating Camo Concealer and I still don't understand the whole hype around it. If you don't want to buy those high end, fancy concealers then the first ELF one is a good product to use. I think I'm going to stick with the Tarte Shape Tape.

Let me know what you think and if you have concealer suggestion!

I too have tried a variety of concealers (including the Maybelline one) and I really do find this is one area that you have to pay more for a better product. My current one is Skin to Die for by Peter Thomas Roth and it’s my favourite right now. Thanks for sharing your review!

I'll definitely have to check that one out! And I agree, the more you pay the better the quality sometimes.

I LOVE the Tarte Shape Tape so it's good to know that it's still the best out of these! I don't like products with sponge applicators either because it soaks up so much product. Also the ELF brightening concealer sounds terrible!
I've been using the UOMA Stay Woke Concealer recently & I think it's similiar to Shape Tape!

I know! I did not like the idea of using the sponge to apply the concealer! And it is terrible, save your money. I'll definitely have to check out the UOMA one!
