One of my favorite activities that I ever did was create a little makeshift makeup “vanity” set. Since my room is on the smaller side, I can’t really have a huge vanity set up but I do have this really cute table that is able to hold everything I use. From my makeup products to skincare. Here are just the products I used to make it work for me. I’ve never had a “great” makeup vanity setup. They’ve alway been in this weird cabinet and in these weird drawer things that I’m sure are used more for tiny papers. But thankfully, my brain started working and I thought it would be best if I moved my stuff more out in the open. I have this cute little table I got from my grandparents in Florida and thought it was perfect to make it my new makeup station. It’s big enough to hold all my makeup and even my skincare. The reason I really like this concept is because now that I’m able to see the makeup, I will be more inclined to use it more. I mean I have it, might as well use it more. Just to give a basic rundown of what it looks like, from top to bottom: On the top shelf, it has most of my eyeshadow palettes. Ranging from my smaller palettes to my larger ones. I also have my Colourpop Lippies and the Liners in this cute case that they came in. To hold my lipsticks and glosses, I bought this lipstick holder from Amazon. The last thing on the top is this drawer thing. This just holds the rest of my makeup that I either didn’t want in the table drawer or didn’t fit into the palette holders. Like my eyeliners, mascaras, foundation, extra highlighters, and things like that. To hold my brushes, I have these wine glasses. One of them holds the smaller brushes, like for my eyes. The other one holds more for my face, like blush and bronzer. In the drawer I have extra stuff, two palettes that don’t fit in the slots or in the case underneath, lashes, and other stuff that I couldn’t find another spot for. The bottom shelf has bins from Target. One holds my lotions from Bath and Body Works, hairspray, and sprays. A smaller one sits in the middle with my skincare products and other lotions that didn’t in the first one. In the last bin I have palettes that either didn’t fit in the slots or I don’t always use. Here is a list, prices, and where I got the makeup holders! Lipstick holder I got this off Amazon for $8.00 and it holds 24 lipsticks and lip glosses. Eyeshadow Palette Holder #1 The first eyeshadow palette holder I bought is for my smaller palettes. I also got this off Amazon for $18.00. I really like this because it’s the perfect size for my smaller eyeshadows. Eyeshadow Palette Holder #2 The second one is by Alegory Acrylic and it holds more of my bigger palettes. This was also off Amazon for about $23.00. Makeup Organizer I was going between this and another one, but I’m glad I went with this one because it’s smaller. I only need to hold my mascara’s and other small stuff. I got this off the Target website for about $23.00. 2 Gray Threshold Bins and Room Essentials Y-Weave Decorative Storage Basket One of the bins consists of lotions and different sprays. The other holds palettes that didn’t make it into the holders. I’ll just rotate them around a few times. Each bin was about $8.00. The white basket just holds my skincare and any smaller products. I wasn’t going to get this, but then I realized my smaller products would look weird, so I got this. It goes right in the middle. This was about $6.00. Two Wine Glasses I don’t remember where I got these, but I use them to hold my brushes. I organized them into my face and my eyes. The last part of the drawer and it holds extra makeup, palettes that wouldn't fit into the storage bin or the holders, and my reusable makeup wipes. I think that this will make me use my makeup more because I can physically see it over where I had it before. All of the storages and holders were pretty cheap and affordable. I think my setup looks really cute and I can’t wait for it to evolve in the future.
